The lecturer was born on August 9, 1983 in Quezon City, Philippines. She finished elementary and high school in Naga City, Camarines Sur. She obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine in University of the Philippines at Los Baños in 2006. After passing the licensure exam, she started working as an equine and small animal veterinarian in Manila then started her ruminant practice since 2007. She worked as a veterinarian and livestock manager in a progressive commercial dairy cattle farm for 9 years and trained in management, reproduction, biotechnology, diagnostics and medicine locally and abroad.
In the middle of 2013, she started teaching as an adjunct professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, UPLB. Later that year, she was granted a one-semester scholarship to take courses offered by the Department of Veterinary Public Health, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand and to work in a research under the Centre of Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring in Foodborne Pathogens (in cooperation with World Health Organization).
In 2015, she was awarded a grant to conduct research under the CVM-DA-PL-480 project entitled “Profiling of Economically Important Diseases of Swine and Cattle in the Philippines for Enhanced Disease Management, Surveillance and Control".
In 2016, she formally joined the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, UPLB as a faculty member. A year after, she established her veterinary services based in Batangas then in 2018, she obtained her degree Master of Science in Veterinary Medicine major in Veterinary Public Health, minor in Veterinary Epidemiology in University of the Philippines at Los Baños. She is a diplomate of the Philippine College of Ruminant Practitioners, a diplomate and secretary of the Philippine College of Equine Practitioners, a diplomate and former secretary of the Philippine College of Veterinary Public Health, a fellow of the Philippine College of Veterinary Epidemiologists and a founding member of the Philippine Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Finally, she is married for 8 five years and blessed with a 7-year old son.
