Biofertilizers for increased agricultural productivity and cropping intensity

  • Cost-effective alternatives, sustainable, and environmentally friendly can describe UPLB’s biofertilizers. 
  • These biofertilizers are formulated for different ornamental plants, fruit trees, and agricultural crops like rice, corn, vegetables, and legumes to enhance plant growth and development, increase yield, and reduce use of chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
  • Our goal is to improve agricultural productivity and increase cropping intensity for Filipino farmers and to contribute to achieving food security in the Philippines.

UPLB Technology Hub and One-Stop Shop

The UPLB Technology Hub and One-Stop Shop is located beside the Charles Fuller Baker Memorial Hall. It serves as a one-stop shop to showcase UPLB technologies, products, and services and as a venue for “meetings and exchange of ideas”. It houses the following:
