Cacao Nanobiosensor describes a DNA-based detection system for causal pathogens (P. palmivora and L. theobromae) of black pod rot in cacao. It includes a electrochemical detection with magnetic capture of target pathogen zoospores and significant modifications in its process. The present invention offers early detection of target pathogen at low concentrations, and quantitative response depending on concentration of target pathogen.
