SNAP Hydroponics is a utility model developed for growing crops under stillwater culture. Young seedlings are immersed in nutrient solutions and allowed to develop under passively aerated conditions. The system comes with a highly buffered nutrient solution that prevents sudden changes in solution pH that could adversely affect growth. Leafy vegetables like mustard, lettuce and pakchoy grow 65% faster compared to soil-grown crops. The system is scalable.
