Manok Galâ
Categories: Food Security and Sovereignty, One Health
Manok Galâ is poultry meat chicken from growing cockerels (young roosters) of layer breeders raised under strict animal welfare standards and fed with organic feeds. It is the product of research that determined the viability of growing cockerels from the layer breeder industry as a meat source when grown free-range and has the flavors and tenderness of traditional native chickens highly acceptable to consumers. This allows the utilization of these birds that are otherwise sacrificed at day-old for food security and One Health.
